The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) periodically conducts global studies to measure the impact of promotional products against other forms of advertising. Their latest study offers the following interesting facts:

  • Among the most popular promotional products are writing instruments which are used by over 50% of consumers in North America.

  • 58% of consumers own at least one promotional tee shirt and it is the most widely appreciated across all age groups.

  • Logoed tote bags generate more impressions that any other item and are especially used by women.

  • Despite the growing popularity of digital calendars on phones and computers, 76% of people given promotional wall
calendars say they use them daily in their homes or offices.

  • Promotional caps make over 3,000 impressions over their lifetime.

Not only are promotional items the most highly regarded form of advertising, according to the latest study, but at a cost per impression of just 0.7 cents, promo items are also the most cost-effective advertising medium.

Remember, when you give a customer or prospect a promotional gift, he or she is more than 85% likely to remember you and your business and return the gesture with future purchases.
